Each The Art of JAN^© product is individually painted.

Canvas items are hand painted with acrylic and oil paints, as well as permanent inks, finishing with a waterproofing to keep each item looking fantastic.

Glass items are carefully prepared with an undercoating, then hand painted with oils and inks. After letting the design settle overnight the ornament is fired then coated with a protective finish.

Furniture is prepared with a primer and a basecoat before the design is added by hand with oils and acrylics. Each piece is then given a minimum of three coats of varnish to minimize scratches.

All Art of JAN^© items can be cleaned by hand washing with mild soap and water (we use baby wipes), and drying away from direct sunlight or heat. Machine washing will fade the detail and colors.

As you look through the different Galleries you will find a variety of designs, some custom ordered and others that were purchased ready made.
Similar designs of those you see in the Galleries can be ordered, or you can propose an idea of your own. Either way just send an email to - info@theartofjan.com with a design request and size, and I will contact you with a price and estimated completion date. After we have agreed on the details I will begin your one of a kind piece of art.
