Welcome to ART2WEAR SHOES©



ART2WEAR SHOES© started when it wasn’t easy to find distinctive, fun shoes for my children. All my life I’ve been painting or drawing something, so I decided to put my talents to work, creating functional art – for their feet.

Compliments – and soon unanticipated orders – started coming in. I loved the creative process, and couldn’t wait for the next request. Now, at my children’s school’s, classmates, and teachers are slipping on ART2WEAR SHOES©, and due to word of mouth, children and adults from California to New York, as well as in Europe, are showing off their own ART2WEAR SHOES© .

I was frequently asked “What’s the name of your website?” so ART2WEAR SHOES.com© was developed.

As my shoes started getting more exposure I had requests for Diaper bags, Growth Charts, Back Packs , and more, so I added “and stuff”.

Each ART2WEAR SHOES© product is individually painted with a step by step process. Acrylic and oil paints, as well as permanent inks are used, ending with a waterproofing to keep each item looking fantastic

ART2WEAR SHOES© can be cleaned by hand washing with mild soap and water (we use baby wipes), and drying away from direct sunlight or heat. Machine washing will fade the detail and colors.

Look through the different Galleries, you will find a variety of designs, some custom ordered and others that were purchased ready made.
Some of the shoes “and stuff” in the Galleries have been sold, but similar designs can be made, you can also propose an idea of your own. Either way just send an email to - info@art2wearshoes.com with a design request and shoe size if you‘re ordering shoes, and I will contact you with a price and estimated completion date. After we have agreed on the details I will begin your unique useable/wearable art.

Each item from ART2WEAR SHOES© is a signed work of Art, a keepsake that has been created and hand painted individually. Not only for yourself, but Weddings, Birthdays, Holidays, New Baby… Purchased for someone special, yours will be the gift beyond compare!!
